Along the monumental cliff face, an integral part of this journey through time, the exhibition rooms are packed with stone tools, bone and ivory artefacts, and life-size reconstructions of extinct animals, providing an insight into how societies have evolved over the last 400,000 years.

June and September: 9.30am to 6pm, closed on Tuesdays.
October to May: 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm, closed on Tuesdays.
